Touch of technology at an attractive price, the LG KP500 Cookie is packed with advanced features, 3″ screen 240×400 pixels, 256k colors , 3.2 MP camera, stereo FM, MP3 player and more.

“I travel frequently back to the UK so this phone works great for me. It is quad-band and GSM phone which means it has a removable sim card that I can use a pay as you go sim card when I go back to the UK, and then switch it back while back in the US. Unfortunately your limited to AT&T or T-Mobile in the US as the other carriers don’t use GSM phones, not sure why?. The phone itself which I bought in the UK has an adapter for 110/220v for charging in other countries which is a nice touch from LG (I once fried a US adapter by plugging it into a UK socket, duh!). It comes with a screen protector and the casing feels nice and not too cheap. The touch screen itself is bright and easy to navigate and the inclusion of a stylus that fits in the base of the phone makes it very handy when texting. The phone houses a slot for a micro SD card up to 8gb, which is ample for mp3′s and photo’s or video’s. I don’t like that you have to use the supplied headphones in order to listen to music as they aren’t that good and would have preferred the ability to use third party phones.
Camera quality isn’t that great, but like most phone cameras the quality is grainy, I only use it rarely as I have a good quality digital camera for that. Overall it’s a great little phone that is considerably cheaper and less bulkier than the i phone. And if you need accessories then eBay is the place to go, I picked up a great leather case that fits perfectly, and a car charger. I have had the phone now for 7 months and am pleased with it so far.“

“I live outside the US and the phone worked perfectly with Guatemalan Carriers, it is a great value phone has almost every feature built in other smart phones. the only downside is that it doesn’t has wifi, but the browser is very good, you can surf every web page, not only mobile sites.
great design not big and bulky like the i phone, its easier to handle when you are speaking.
The only downside is that you need to push a litte hard sometimes in order to move things or activate things, i don’t know if it is only my case or thats the way the is. I own it now for three weeks and i’m loving it, and the touchscreen is getting more responsive over time.
The phone has a lot of features but at least im gonna mention the ones I like the most.

This phone is great, its slim and easy to us. The touch screen is very easy to use and not oversensitive. There is a slot for a micro SD card I bought a card and I have downloaded a whole TV series on to mine and the sound and screen on the phone is excellent. The volume on this phone is the best I have had. The battery lasts for a few days then only takes a couple of hours to recharge.
Once you get use to testing its very easy and you can text using a qwerty keyboard.
This phone is good for any age the camera is of very good quality and allows you to alter the photos after you have taken them you can even morph yout photos. There is also a drawing pad.

- There are very little bad things to say about this phone, but some of the dice and roulette games do not come with instructions so I don’t bother with them which is a shame as on of the features of the phone is to shake the phone to turn the roulette wheel and through the dice. The other problem I had was when I first started to text on the phone the send key and space bar are next to each other and I sent a lot of unfinished texts!!! Also the handwriting of texts is very slow and I find it frustrating!.“

The customers love this phone for several reasons: low price, great design, good battery power and easy to use options, good sound and video.The touchscreen is excellent.Only down side is that it has no WiFi.

The Cookie’s large 3.0-inch touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels, 256K colors) provides an optimized interface for all forms of multimedia content, and its auto rotating display automatically shifts from narrow to wide mode and vice versa according to the contents and your position. The large screen size and excellent color depth make it ideal for watching movies, taking pictures, browsing the Internet, and creating and editing drawings and documents. The Home screen menu from LG’s Flash user interface (UI) provides quick access to your calendar, alarm clock and digital audio player. The optimized QWERTY keyboard, which automatically comes out when the screen is in wide display mode, enables fast and easy input for email and text-messaging.

With the Cookie’s handwriting recognition, you can write and draw on messages or background pictures taken with the phone’s camera, as well as send text messages without even using the virtual keyboard. It’s also great for realistic game play thanks to the embedded motion sensor technology, which recognizes your hand movements and reflects them in the game itself

The Cookie includes a small 48 MB internal memory, which can be expanded via optional Micro SD memory cards up to 8 GB in size.
